The context of performance and the additional instruments are stated by the informants for some of the folkloric creations. Gathered in Cahul town, Vâlcova village, Badicu village, Cahul district. Istoricul custodiei: The archival material in this notebook was gathered in the summer of 1946 and 1947 by a student of the State University of Chişinău, Cahul branch, in the second year of bachelor studies, working as intern for the Institute of Language and Literature. It was taken into custody by the Institute of Language and Literature of the Moldovan Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences / MSSR Academy of Sciences and had the same custodial history as the entire collection.
Ordinea: First notebook of current investigator in this volume.The creations were arranged in the order the investigator met the informants.
